Jerry, you could always plug in an AC adapter to your cig lighter, then just plug in a heating pad, and sit on it!!
yea that would be a heck of a lot cheaper, but ill just start the truck and let it warm up for about 15-20 min and its all right by me... well i gotta run for now, got to get kid to school, talk to you guys later.
Good morning Pat, Jerry, Jake, Jack, Randy, Rob, Dallas, Gary and anyone else that I may have missed.
You do know that all of you can keep that damn cold weather out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel sorry for you guys because I we do have temps in the single digits or just below zero, but that does not happen until usually January.
Pat your right, not pleasant at all. Truck overheated on way to take austin to school, had to push it about a block or so into the school parking lot, luckily i was able to get it restarted and limp it home, steam blowing out the overflow tube. So needless to say, something froze up somewhere, and its to cold to do anything about it, cant even get it in the garage because its to long, hopefully ill get to get it figured out soon, i dont know where to begin though.
yea i know, it has worked fine up until now, usually runs mid range on temp guage, didnt do that today, less than 3 miles each way, heat was on but blew cold, so something is messed up, really dont want to deal with it now, would rather park it and do everything i want to do to it, but cant afford to do that either.
Jerry sorry to hear about the truck issue. As Pat mentioned and I have had it happen to me, sounds like it may be the t-stat. I have had then go in a snap before.

Yep sounds like tstat our did your water pump go out silly question you did have anti freeze in it
yea, had coolant in it. (its not a stupid question, i would have asked the same thing.) may not have been enough antifreeze though, it may be the tstat as you guys suggest, just really frustrated with it, tempted just to take the tstat out with it being this cold out, and running it that way for a few months til it begins to warm up.
Good morning from the frozen tundra! Who knew global warming could be this cold!
Late getting around this morning, school was delayed two hours. Some dummy didn't have the presence of mind to fill the gas tank on Saturday when it was 48 degrees, so it was not a pleasant experience standing out there doing it today.
That sucks about the truck Jerry, gald you got it back home!

Morning Rob,
Yea its to cold out to be standing by a fuel pump waiting on it. Im still determining if i want to run out and pull the thermostat yet or not, its 0 here now, luckily no wind. i should pull it out and go from there, see if it fixes it, which im sure it would.
