A diesel that runs like that isn't getting enough fuel.
Fuel is all a diesel cares about.
Air in the fuel messes it up.
Get the fuel lines right!
-Water seperators sometimes rust holes in them and leak air in.
-Lines at the tank sometimes go bad
-Fuel is sometimes bad (full of water)
-Something may be loose and leak air into the lines on the intake side (bad hoses)
