I had set up an appointment to make a few dyno runs with my truck. I was going to run stock, and Spartan's Max Econ, Agressive Street Econ, and Hybred Race tunes just to see what the HP and torque curves looked like. I wanted to get a better idea of where each tune put the peaks so I could get a better idea of where to run the truck for best economy.
So I get there, fill out all the waiver paperwork and go over everything with the guys at Swift Motorsports. They take my truck in and get it up on the dyno. So far so good....
Well, they ran the rack all the way out on their dyno and guess what? Either the dyno is too short or my truck is too long but the end result is that there's no way they can do the runs.........

Trust me, it could have been a whole lot worse then that on 3 different attempts on the dyno.
Thanks for the list of other dynos, I'll have to see about setting something up at a later date.
When they put the front half of the 4" exhaust on I had talked to them about doing the dyno runs. They measured and said they thought it would be OK, but it was off by inches at most. The rear tire wasn't quite all the way down between the rollers. Maybe with stock tires, it was close but just not happening.....
