I almost bought as set of those when I was shopping for tires earlier this year. I like the looks of them but couldn't find anyone that ran them to giove me advice. The only thing I ever heard about them was that they sometimes take a lot to balance them. I got them from a guy at Tire Max.
Don't know if it's true or not. They do look good though...
These tires look awesome, but they are toooooooo soft. I have read over in the Superduty section on here about a few guys running them. In the past, they used to use a Kevlar layer in the design, they used to be awful with chunking away on rocks......not sure about the "new & improved" design.
If the rubber compound is anything like their Mud Country tires, they won't last long. Jeff's (buddy with a Dodge) truck has eaten through a set of those in less than 20K. I'll be paying attention here, because he's looking for a mud tire that's got some longer tread life to it.
Great tires for offroading... Not so much for everyday use... DC's tend to make more noise then they are worth, and now-a-days your paying more for the name because they are one of the "BEST" OFF ROAD tires... I have the Toyo Open Country A/T's and i love them... Pulled a 2007 1-ton chebby maxi out of some slop no problem and he had both front steering arms broke...

Tell Jeff I am running 315 coppers M/T and I have about 25k and still have a little less than half tread left.they are great for off road and are good for every day driving, just norm. noise.I do rotate them around 7k to keep them in shape.the cooper dealer in town said he has seen 40k out of these tires.
I am going to a smaller size to gain alittle more toqure for pulling the trailer for work.
