Are you talking about the doorlock switch on the door or the remote? On the remote, that is correct but i believe it doesn't re arm if you use the doorlock switch on the door itself.
The only reason i would like to have it re arm by the keypad is that i have to park outside and i find at times i need to get into my truck but i do not have my car keys on me. It is nice to use the keypad but i need it to re arm due to the fact I want the alarm to go off if someone broke into it and then used the garage door opener that is built into the rearview mirror to open the garage door. It has the Ford aftermarket rearview mirrior with temp, compass, and 3 garage door buttons.
I did have to take it back to the dealer to get the keypad to disarm the alarm when used to unlock the truck.
I'm postive mine rearms with the door lock switch on the arm rest. I'll have to check it later. I know the keypad disarms it for sure.
