Happy Turkey Day
Got up early this morning to find the kitchen sink drain completely stopped up. I needed to get a 25 lb T-bird out of the brine and cooking in the grill. After about a 30 minute delay I was able to get him in the Weber. Gonna meet up with about 20 other family members at my sisters house, I can feel a hurting coming on.
Whatchall doing today?

John, wow, turkeys done already, appears family is going to be getting an early start, pace yourself should be able to set a record. Have not tried a barbecued turkey, it looks mmmmmmmmmmmm delicious. We had a fried turkey last year, that was 1 damn good tasting turkey. Decided on roasting this year, I am more into the 'fixins', and IMHO there is no substitute for the stuffing from the turkey.
Since you asked, it's a foggy, rain threatening day, rather than drive everyone up the walls from being couped up in the house, decided to meet with few fellow cigar enthusiast at local B&M, fiqure should take couple hrs to enjoy a Southern Island stogie set aside for the occasion, watch a little football, then return home just in time for the big feed. Normally, not into large meals, this is the special occasion when diet issues go out the window, usually takes couple days to recover.
Again, enjoy !!.
