Happy Turkey Day

Well I got up early this morning to put the Turkey on to smoke and was thinking about everything I have to be thankful for on this day. So from a fellow FTE

Yeah, HAPPY THANKSGIVING everybody. I heard the average American consumes 5000 calories on Thanksgiving, but oh well lets all eat up.

To repeat the same . . 'Tis a day to be thankful, as most other days. In the NE corner of TN, it's drizzly and cool but the house is warm and friends call and ask if Nana has the house smelling like "Big Bird". Sure 'nuff. The grandkids think this is a day to eat ALL DAY. The twins want to shed their dresses for jeans, and my daughter said, "Not today." To ALL overseas - a special thought goes out for you ! (Been there-Done that)
