I can honestly say FTE is without a doubt, one of the better forums on the internet.

I say this because I really have no Ford background, I'm not even close to being biased towards fords.

I've owned multiple cars, a few different trucks and have been frequenting car forums since 2000. You come and go when needing information, but only some forums actually keep you coming back.

I bought my 03 F-350 7.3 based on personal choice for my new business, most people encouraged a dirtymax or cummins, but I took my own path instead. FTE helped me quickly get up to speed on what to expect with this truck. I didn't find the boy racer type folk here.. or all the trash talk, just a great bunch of people.

I was set straight on keeping a stock truck, but PMS is trying to set in! That's the only bad thing about FTE... you want to be involved somehow!

That's about the only dirty word on this site: "Stock".

We all came here looking for some kind of information. Many of us have kept hanging around. Just don't be shy about chiming in with answers or suggestions when you read something. And of course, never be afraid to ask a question.

You can still be plenty involved with just a stock truck.

That's true, but at least ditch the stock air box. It's actually dangerous -- can cause dusted turbo/engine. I'd even say the Hutch/Harpoon is a must-do to keep air out of the injectors. If I was keeping a stock truck, I'd do those plus an exhaust. The improvements over stock are worth the time & money and can pay you back in improved MPGs.

My thought on this is, all us guys/gals on here care about our trucks. We are not one to just drive the truck and when something breaks, send it to the shop. I think we take better care of our trucks, we are people that don't settle for not knowing what is going on. This means a lot about each of us, we not only keep our trucks in perfect shape but every thing we have is kept up. If I don't care about what I drive, then I must not care how I live. All on here must care about our friend here or we wouldn't be here.

This is how I see FTE.
