Please everyone read this

ive been putting it off for along while now but it picked a good cold night to fix it. my door locks now work. if it wasnt for all the help from y'all (not just the door locks) little things like this would never be fixed so easily and with little to no money. i know you guys have heard it alot but when it comes to my pride and joy (like yours) when i have a problem i know just where to go to get help from others that are having the same problems. its nothing like going to a parts store or calling for info and gitting "i dont know" answers. here, my truck is your truck. even when someone has a problem that i dont i can read about it and maybe prevent something happening to mine. every time i log onto my comp this is the first place i look around. with that said i thank each and every one of you. Thank Ron

I've been thinking of adding power door locks then now power windows. You guys are lucky, but this is more my work truck than anything else and I bought it cheap. Hard to complain...

Well I have to agree with all of you. I would be out a lot of money and time without all you help from you people. It is five 5:35 AM in WA State and first web page I go to is right here. I think we are all obsessed with our trucks. I had to get up I was thinking about my truck.

Definately - Thanks to all here who have helped me since I got my truck. I have done things to my truck I would never have attempted without FTE and all involved. Gobble - Gobble

I think it is more than being obsessed with our trucks. I think if the website was populated by a bunch of jerks who call you out for not knowing what they know, (like many other chat boards I have been on over the years), all the information in the world wouldn't make it as enjoyable to read as the like minded, warm, compassionate people we have here. This is a great section on this site.

I agree 100%!! My truck would be just another truck if it weren't for the guys & gals on this site. It's now 10x as fun as it was stock, and I have a blast tinkering and learning about it. What I love is when another 7.3 owner (non-FTE'er, of course) comes up and chats with me about these trucks, and happens to mention some issue or another. When I pop off an answer, they think I'm some kind of genius. I naturally point them to this site after enjoying the moment. LMAO!!!

Door locks

Hi,
I'm new to the site...but your problems sonds exactly like the one I have...sometimes they lock, sometimes they don't, or not all work at the same time. What did you do to fix it?

Thanks
Len

Here you go -- I have to do this on my passenger-rear door. It's starting to not unlock sometimes.
