Screw= Supercrew. Hopefully using the term correctly means he has a 2003 F150 Crew Cab.
Try this, it's not the exact application, but might get you close.
SPEED SENSE gray/black instrument cluster or *4
*4 Also found at the radio on vehicles that have the in-dash CD changer
I might be wrong, but I believe the VSS is digital, so it will be a DC current that increases the faster you go. I can't remember well, but it's probably going to be low voltage, say in 1-8v range.

Well going on the grey/black wire idea, I found a second harness close to the radio harness and it had the right color so I gave it a shot. Seems to be working, just have to take her for a drive to see if its accurate. Thanks for the help.
