alright so i take my 350 out to the beach today and decide i want to race up some hills so hook up my programmer and it tells me that my ecu is mismatched and i cant use it ! what the hell??? im currently running the 75hp mode and i wanted to switch to 120hp .........by the way its a accel programmer( basicly a bully dog power pup) any ideas ????

We need a bit more info. How long have you had the tuner? Any recent problems? What other mods? Check your fuses - theres 2 for ecu i think.
Edit - also - pull your battery cables to reset computer and try everything all over again. could just be a glitch
ive had the tuner for maybe 2 months and its been on 75hp the whole time i havent had any problems with it beside the f.12 fuse was blown when i first got it but i checked that and its ok i will look at my other fuses ....my mods so far is just gauges afe 2stage intake and straight 4inch turbo back exhaust.........the programmer is acting like its vin locked and doesnt remember my truck

Like i said before, try the battery thing - fuses - and get on the phone with whoever makes the chip. Hopefully they have good customer service. Check their website for a forum or troubleshooting section. GL
If you get it figured out, set your truck back to stock, sell that thing to a friend and get yourself a DP tuner, then race the guy you sold it to, and beat his azz.
believe me ive been looking into getting a DP tuner especially after this ..good thing i got my current programmer free of charge
If nothing else, I think the DP-TUNER will overwrite the probramer If you can't get it off. I would call Jody at DP to be sure, you will be much happier with the DP. Sounds like you have the basic mods for the DP.
If you get it figured out, set your truck back to stock, sell that thing to a friend and get yourself a DP tuner, then race the guy you sold it to, and beat his azz.

If he gets it figured out, sell it on e-bay and recoup some of the cash for a FAR superior product, the DP Tuner!!!

On of our friends here on FTE forgot to remove his program before installing his DP-Tuner. Jody and Diane said the Tuner would overwright anything on the PCM. So that's always an option.
so i disconnected the batteries and checked all my fuses and nothing the programmer is still locked so im guessing the pcm some how got reset or the programmer took a dump oh well at least i still have the dtc reader part of it looks like its time for a dp-tuner thanks for the help and the info about fixing it
