good quality 390 crate engine
just curious on crate motors for my 75 F250. I no there are a number of companies that sell motors. just wondering if anyone has good experience with them. tuff engines is one of the companies. or should I just take my truck to my local mechanic and have them take it to there machine guy. thanks.

Go to the race track, ask who built the engines of the winners. Word of mouth is a good way to hopefully find a good machine shop. Don't base your decision solely on price, that has cost SOOO many people grief and suffering (myself included).
If your engine is not completely ruined, you might be able to rebuild it yourself at a fraction of the cost, say $500 instead of $2500.
