Hi all,
Recently my headlights (bright/dim) have gone out on my 80 F150. The parking/marker lights are bright as all get out, also the taillights too. But when it comes to seeing stuff my headlights don't even work. So I tried replacing the headlight switch and that didn't work, searched on here for a while and still nothing. I did notice the other day that when I hit a bump my truck shut off and when I stopped, got out to look my battery was pushed into the front cap. Grounding it out and kinda welding it. Would this cause it? I just thought about checking the fuse and going to try that now.
Any idears or thoughts will not be turned down!
first install a battery hold down
check the grounds on your headlights
The closest thing to a battery hold down is a bungey cord for now, it seems to work. Turns out it was my dimmer switch! So after tearing my dash apart it was something that is 2 bolts. But atleast I have a better dash on their now. Thanks again
