Sonnax Transmission, Torque Converter, Performance, Driveline Parts :: Transmission Specialties :: 36948-18K :: Part Summary

The line mod valve kit:
Sonnax Transmission, Torque Converter, Performance, Driveline Parts :: Transmission Specialties :: 96948-01K :: Part Summary

Both of these items are available online from www.bulkpart.com

Do you need any special tools to install either of those kits? and the 96948-01k is for an E40D.

Have you ever seen this kit in a truck? Will it give the same shifts as the FTVB? How hard are these to install?
thanks

Oh and these are the 2 i found

AX4N E4OD line pressure modulator valve & sleeve kit,Sonnax 96948-01K

E40D 4R100 transmission accumulator control spring kit,Sonnax 36948-18K
Both are for a 4R100,and I have both installed in my '01 Navigator. Installed them when it had just over 100K miles on it when I was doing a fluid change, and it's got 160K miles on it now. No problems whatsoever, clean crisp shifts without being abusive, and the install was simple. No special tools,no big hassles.

That part is for the E4OD,the 4R100,the AX4N,and the 4F50N.
I dunno which pan your trans has. As I understand it,the 4x4's got the deep pan,and the rest got the shallow pan.
