This morning on our way to church some guy on a street bike wipes out in front of us; he was going too fast and just flipped the bike over sideways. Anyhow he was OK, had on all his riding gear...it was funny because I told my kids after he passed several cars and us that he was looking to get into a crash, at least he was OK, the bike wasn't.
On to the problem; when I slammed on the brakes I get a check engine light and the code is 006A...can't find it one here. Usually all my codes read P0XX or something that starts with the letter P.
I was going about 35mph as I was approaching a STOP sign on a country road.
P006A is a MAF fault code. A couple of things that can cause it are intake leaks between the MAF sensor and intake manifold or a EGR valve that is stuck open...
