Engine fan lock up.

So as the engine gets nice and hot and even hotter the engine fan engages to help cool the engen down...

My question is how can I lock up or engage the fan so that the engine wont have to get hotter for it to engage.

Now I know that its winter and I wont get the engine too hot unless im pulling something crazy so I wont need this feature now but during the summer I would like to engage it so that I wont get water temps up to 225 F or highter... So by having this feature I can keep the temps down but not too low. That would be bad.

This is considering towing not normal driving. Although if the weather is 120 F for normal driving then i would consider engaging the fan. thats if I can do that and not have the truck do it.

This idea is just to have an upper edge on the temps. thats all.
Thanks

The easiest way to do what you want is to install electric fans and then just wire then up to a switch in the cab. I wouldn't mess with whats there as it is connected to a lot of other "stuff".
