Parts

I had a mechanic come to my house and look at my car and he says I need some parts. I was wondering if any could recommend the best brand or which brand they used and they are satisfied with

Here are the parts:

-Oxygen Sensor 1
-Oxygen Sensor 2
-Radiator Hose (Top and Bottom)
-Thermostat
- Shocks (mine are horrible, I hit a speed bump @ 5 mph and my car feels like Im riding a bull)
-Serpentine Belt

Well I use a Motorcraft thermostat, that has the air bleed valve design, which helps burp the cooling system after a refill & Motorcraft radiator & heater hoses, which are really good quality.

I just replaced the O2 sensors in my 94 Taurus 3.8L, using Bosch & it seems to run just fine & goes into closed loop really fast & the switching speed is good. Haven't had to replace the 99 4.0L Rangers O2 sensors yet.

I'm running Dayton Polycog serpentine belts, on both the 99 Ranger 4.0L & 94 Taurus 3.8L engines & both belts are so far doing just fine, both run a little quieter than the OEM belt & so far no cracks after almost 4 years, that part is better than I got from the OEM belts.

I've heard good things about Goodyears Gator Back belts too, but haven't run them yet.

Haven't had to replace shocks on either vehicle yet, so I don't have any inputs there.

Some thoughts for pondering.
