Magic Truck
Tonight I was driving to my auto-body class and was amazed to find that the light for my heater controls started to work. After the cab swap, it wasn't and for some reason it does now. I love it when my truck fixes itself. Should I blame it on Dan?
Just curious, have you had any experiences when your vehicle some how mended itself?

No...you're only supposed to blame the bad things in the world on me. When something good happens, it was probably someone else's fault...

I think your truck turning into Christine would be deemed a bad thing though.

Or a gremlin. My new hope is the exhaust leak will repair itself.

Lol...Dan has that "Gremiln-Look" to him
Where's the exhaust leaking at? Up on the heads, or at the collectors?
If at the heads, figure time for a new gasket...switch over to those dead-soft copper ones, if at the collectors, you might be able to get by with gooping up the orange Hi-temp silicone by Permatex...that stuff is golden on exhaust stuff after the heads.

The leak is up at the heads. I am going to put on a set of gaskets like you recommend.

I wish mine would fix itself. Only had it 8 months, and it has broke down twice now.
