I wouldn't bolt 'em up tight Clint, just a couple bolts to secure them. It'll be easier to work on up here with the fenders off. For that matter I'm thinking of dragging the trailer down there on the weekend of the 24th/25th to tow the truck back up here so you really wouldn't need to put them back on at all, they can ride in the bed.
I had intended to leave the tool box, so there is not enough room in the bed for the fenders and hood. A couple of bolts will hold it in place.
I continue to fuss around, maybe I will be able to meet you half-way. My thought were that if I could get it to fit on my dolly I could send it up to you when nighteyes came after the camper. He will not be able to bring the dolly back as the camper will cover his hitch, but it will not hurt to store it at your place for a few weeks.
I have to postpone getting the camper until March 20th instead of Feb 20th as I don't have the funds to pay for the gas. I am also going to push back getting the Ranger from March 20th until April 17th, for the same reason. I can't afford to get the camper, and the Ranger with the same paycheck.
Clint, took a look out back, only real narrow 8 lug I saw was a 16inch split rim...
But...all's not lost...I've some on the MH chassis out back, tomorrow I'll get the size on them and you can figure out of they'll work or not.
Thinking about it...worst comes to worse, I could pull the outside duals off a 1 ton rear under the other MH if you think you could flip them around and let them "stick in" for more clearance?
No, it's 8 lug...although I hae a freefloating big-6 lug frame as well...maybe late 50's/early 60's ford..but anyway...
The one MH I have has dual 1ton 8 hole wheels on it. If you think they'd fit..not problem, Dan wants to head down in the next few weeks, if I can swing it, I'll hook up wth him...and worst case meet him on the way with the wheels.
He's (Dan) seen what I have, so maybe he'll jump in and let us know if they'll work or not.
I'm lost...what are the wheels needed for? Anyway, I have some. I still have a set of wheels/tires on the '85 F250 rear end. And some others around as well, I'm sure.

I sort of realized that when I read his post that he posted at the same time as mine...
As far as I know, the wheels you have should work...in theory. Never actually tried them though. Let's figure out where we're all at over the next week as I'm still planning to come down with the trailer next weekend (24th/25th) and can go all the way down to Clint's if needs be. I'm prepared for it, anyway...
