Welcome to the club. You will have a few long nights ahead of you...
You picked one heck of a desirable donor to start with. Those 4wd ex-cabs demand some good $$ for being as "old" (in most people's eyes) as they are. I bet you could sell the truck minus motor for quite a bit still. In fact the only thing that would have made that truck more desirable is if it was a manual instead of that 47rh.
As for the T-case - YES it would be a married case in that truck.
mmmm? Maybe I will put the 400 in the Dodge! Actuallly the buddy with the truck crane is trying to ........ me out of the 400 to put in his '76 F-150 4X. As for the Dodge chassis I will prolly just get rid of the whole thing. The fiancee doesn't care too much for all the toys sitting around. Thinking with the Dana 60's and 205 bout $1000 once I am done. If I get done.

Reason: Derogatory language
My simular swap took 6 months of weekends (when I could get a kitchen pass from my wife) I think it could be done in a week of un-interupted time. As a non drinking man, I didn't have any beer, but there were times it was tempting.
The transfer case in that truck would be married, but can't be used in a Ford unless you use the front axle from the dodge.
