I'm trying to locate a F-250. My local dealer is a A-Hole. I do have two things the truck is in Wisconsin and I have a Vin #. I hope someone on here can help me. The Vin is 1FTSX21RR08ED97107.
?? Since you have found two trucks, are you saying your dealer won't get one of them for you? Maybe you need a different dealer? (Easier said than done in some circumstances, I know).
I have found the Ford Website (LOCATE YOUR TRUCK or something like that) will help you as well. Maybe contact the delar that HAS the truck and work from that end? Maybe they will help find a cooperative dealer near enough to work with you? This seems VER strange, especialyy in THIS truck market! Good luck...joe
OK..One dealer gave me the whole scoop, location, dealer, VIN, the works on the shhets printed from the GM inventory search. We just had a gentleman's agreement I would work through him and not go around him...GOOD guy. Another dealer blacked out the VIN for a truck on his OWN lot, not trusting me to try to get the truck through another dealer...BAD guy! Since you know all the specs, including the color(s) and options, just try another dealer and give him/her the info. The new dealer will find that truck or its twin through the Ford dealer inventory. My PERSONAL opinion trust the person that trusts you. If your dealer thinks YOU"re sleazy, imagine what he thinks of himself!

It appears to have been dealer traded at least once since it was delivered on 04/11/08 to Porcaro Ford in Racine, WI. It should now be in Antioch, IL at Kunes Country FLM. Build date was 04/09/08 and as of 10/02/08 there were 8 miles on the odometer...

Thank-you very much. I hope I can get the deal done. Does anyone know for sure if the truck plant is shutting down for over a month. I been thinking about ordering an 2009 they say it would not be here till sometime in Febuary. Thanks

It is true. KTP is scheduled to shut down for about 6 weeks for retooling to add the Expedition/Navigator to the line. Right now it looks like the week of 12/08 will be the last week of production until the beginning of February when production is scheduled to resume with '09 Job 2's. So a February/March timeframe would be right. However, there has been no official word that '09 Job 1 has balanced out. There is the chance if you were to get your order in by the end of the day Monday that the order would schedule this coming week for Job 1 production before the shut down. If it were to schedule, it would probably schedule for production the week of 12/08 and you would see it by the end of December. No guarantees though...
Either way you should be able to get a pretty good deal. With the current employee pricing program and the current rebates 10K+ off the sticker is not out of the question. The F-250 that you provided the VIN on will end up around $43,450 under the employee pricing program and there is $4,500 in Retail Cash being offered on top of that. There is also another $500 in Ford Credit cash if you finance thru Ford credit. I believe they are also offering another $1,000 in Dealer Cash on 08's and $500 on 09's in your area...
The 09's are also being offered at employee pricing, but you must take delivery by 01/05/09 and only have $2,500 in Retail Cash...
