Divorced case install
I was thinking of putting a divorced transfer case behind my 2wd c6 so I can use the low range in tight areas, or sometimes while plowing snow. From what researc I've done I would need to try to get the transmission output shaft parralell to the input on the transfer case, with a 2-4 deg driveshaft angle. I dont have any experience with how the case is mounted to the frame. It seems if there is just a crossmember there might be a problem keeping the 2-4 deg angle, like maybe a brace from the case to the transmission crossmember would be needed. Any pics of divorced cases youve got would help, or links to articles...
