I know that it's kind of old news, but... Ford sues IRS for $445 million
Does anyone know how the lawsuit turned out? Or is it still in progress? I've been looking all over the net, but I can't find any more info than what's in this article.
There is still nothing added to articles as there is nothing to report. Ford filed Irs served and thats about it. Do not know how long until response etc will be filed and reports of outcome. Would like to know tho.
Typically - the IRS will contend that anything over three years old is "NON-RECOVERABLE".
I bet they stand on that...
But if FORD wins, it would set a precedent that could be lucrative for the rest of us, if we have ever been stiffed for uncollected return revenues. For that reason alone I bet they won't allow it! But FORD has better lawyers than anyone I know can hire
Worth watching
If FOMOCO breaks the IRS on this issue, I'll be first in line behind them!!!
