New Intake

The intake on my 390 has an egr on it that has been patched up so i was going to get one with out it. i found a high rise intake off a 67 galaxy with a 428 and was wondering if it would bolt up to mine.

There were no high rise intake manifolds on any 428 in a Galaxie. There were all just the standard manifold that the 390s also ran.

I'd look into it a bit further before forking over $100. Is this a aluminum or cast iron intake? Either Offy or Weiand used to market a "high rise" FE intake. It was flat as a pancake as I remember.
