Coolant tube in intake manifold

Coolant tube in intake manifold

I have a 1997 E-350 with the 5.4. The coolant tube at the rear passenger side of the intake rotted off where it was pressed into the manifold. The new piece looks like it is a press fit into the intake.

Has anyone replaced one of these?
How hard is it to press into the intake?
I have my intake off right now and am waiting for the new tube to show up ( i screwed up the first one by trying to install while the intake was in place.)

All right, since I did not hear from anybody, here is what I did.

Remove the intake manifold (for the second time in a week)
Clean out the bore for the coolant tube
Put new coolant tube in the freezer (for about an hour)
Heat the intake manifold with a heat gun and get the coolant tube started in the bore.
The tube is a press fit and did not want to go in at all. I put a 5/8 wrench on the flared part of the tube and put a block under the other end of the wrench and beat the living hell out of the wrench, trying to get the tube to seat.
I moved the wrench around the tube as much as possible to try to get it to go in as straight as possible. I got the tube down to within an 1/8 - 3/16 of seating fully in the manifold.
Since I did not get it fully seated, I mixed up some JB weld and covered the space between the shoulder and manifold to seal it against any leaks.
I left the JB to dry for an hour and then reinstalled the intake and all the other corresponding crap.
I let the JB set up a little more (about 4 hours) and then filled the engine back up with coolant.
I started the van and backed it out of the shop, and let it sit for 3 more hours before starting it up and doing a 5 minute test drive and shut it down overnight.
The wife drove it the next day to run the kids to school, and we have driven it a few more times (probably less than 3 hours so far)
No leaks as of yet.
