have cleaned throttle body, changed egr valve and goes off for about 30 miles,have air thur vents changed at higher rpm.s to defrost,need help,what else can it be?????????
Your DPFE sensor is probably bad then. As for the A/C, I cant really help you, Im not familar with the vaccum operated A/C. Do a search and you will see many threads with the same problems as you.
There is a vacuum line through the firewall in the area of the battery that supplies vacuum to the heater controls. Take a look at that line and the lines that run over into the fender well where the vacuum accumulator is located. Some guys find that the battery has dumped some acid out that has eaten through the vacuum lines. Has the truck ever sustained damage in the right front? If so, the accumulator may have been damaged.
