Im not 100% sure but i dont think so i could be wrong but they didnt make 352's then maybe someone else can chime in im guessing you will have to change somethings i dont think its direct bolt up
360 CID V8 is an FE series or Family Engine. With FE series engines, where one fits they all fit as far as mounts, exhausts, bellhousing bolt patterns & most everything else goes. Since 352 is also an FE Series engine, the answer is yes.
They're virtually the same engine in that respect. You can direct bolt in and/or replace your 360 FE with a 352 FE drop in & hook it up.
You can also use a 332, another 360, a 390, a 401, 406, 407, 410 427 or 428 version of the FE engine.
but you can't use an FT or other series/ family without changing stuff to do it.

I believe there was a few years where the heads had a different number of exhaust manifold bolts. Something like 8 bolts on older years, pre 66 ? , and 14 bolts after that year. I can't recall this late at night and the better half is sleeping next to the stack of info. Don't want to wake her. I know I was looking at parts for my 67 FE in a restoration catalog and it lists different bolt partern for the older FE exhaust manifold. It might not have been model years but rather engine size that had the odd number of bolts. Someone with more info on the older FE's will chime in.
Why swap to a smaller motor? Most people want to go from 360 to 390, not the other way. 352, 360, 390 are the same block with different internals.
