New Mag-Hytec diff. cover

I found a deal on a Mag-Hytec rear end cover and went for it! ($175). It's a quality piece of work period, holds 3 qts more than stock, has a magnetic drain plug, dip stick-fill hole, temp. port, o-ring seals, stainless steel Allen bolts, cooling fins and it looks great! Now i'm looking for a deal on their transmission pan!

Looks good. Noticed that you already have Bilsteins installed too.
I recently installed on my '03 the very thing that you removed.
There's probably someone lurking here that would take your OEM cover off your hands.

I was at the auction delivering a couple of vehicles yesterday and saw a driver loading a F-350 on the top of his hauler. My eye was imediatley captured by the Mag-Hytec diff. cover. As the truck was seven feet up in the air the cover was very visiable. The entire truck looked impressive. The driver told me that it had failed to sell at auction and was being returned to the dealer that had sent it to auction.

The OP has a V-10 gasser like me so I'm sure he had the stamped steel cover. Only the diesels get the aluminum cover.

No worrys. I just received my 08 aluminum cover and will be mounting it tomorrow. I went against the grain though and painted it black. However, with my luck the paint will peel right off after the first good heavy tow and she gets hot.

I think he was saying it has a port for a temp sending unit if I read it right.

I am thinking of getting the factory alum cover and having it powder coated, under $75 sounds after powder coating sounds pretty good IMO. But them magtech covers do look good I do have to say.

I found that deal on Ebay best offer.... I can't find a transmission pan for under $315 shipped yet.
