I've never drained the hpop reservoir or pulled the galley oil plugs when I do injectors. I just pull the injectors and let the oil drain into the cylinder and then vacuum it out before reinstalling the injector.

Both IH and Ford should have o-ring kits, the copper crush washer comes in the bag with the o-rings

I do the same. Too many stories of those galley drain plugs stripping or falling into the motor!

I suggest to change the engine oil after installing the injectors, that way any fuel and crud that falls in during the swap leaves with the old oil and does not contaminate the new oil. my 2 cents!
