E4OD upgrades

Howdy, I'm looking for recommendations on upgrading my E4OD or possibly having it completely built. I'd like for it to be able to handle WOT shifts with an eye towards maybe making around 300HP or better in the future. Am I asking too much?

wish i had bought a standard...
it has been ok with the auto..
but has always bothered me somewhat.

if it all blows up for me someday
Ford Cmmins with matching tranny sure sounds the way ..
