Rear Disk Convertion

People with 4-wheel disks, did you buy a converstion kit or is there someway that I can use other parts?

I put together my own kit and built the brackets. I had troubles with my brackets due to a major oversight on my part but it was still a tricky setup. Then when it was all said and done I was close to the price tag of a kit that I could buy. I still wouldn't have bought it cause I can build it but here is the post I made about mine.

Just an additional question on this. I use my truck to haul a slide in camper(aqpprox 2800# loaded) and my 16' boat(maybe 1500#). Will the disc brakes be a better option for stopping power vers. the existing drum? How about longevity issues?
