I was a Moderator on my high school board, they decided to put a politics, religion, anything goes board up. I protested that it was going to get them in trouble, after two weeks I quit the board altogether. Several months later, the webmasters and moderators were subpoenaed, over something that was posted. Even without being in any direct trouble, I figured 1000 mile trip back home, lost wages, and staying in a hotel would have cost me a fortune.
