It was announced today that Red Saawx pitcher Curt Schilling will undergo season and probably career ending surgery. No matter what you think about the guy personally...and I think he's a jerk...he certainly delivered for the Saawx!!! Remember the bloody sock!!!

 

Atleast he will have more time for his blog.

Not sure he is Hall material. If I remember correctly his lifetime record is about 70 or so games over 500...and his era is in the mid 4 range. Those might be borderline Hall stats...but...he's never been a favorite of the media. Even though he is very quotable...they don't like him. Witness what this has done to another legit Hall guy...Jim Rice.

 

Good point Duane...not that he's ever let anything hold him back in that regards!!!
