ok guys I have a 2008 f-250 crew cab 4x4 with a 6" lift and 37s. when I get up to about 70 mph and hit any kind of bump in the road I get a violent wheel shake that wont stop untill I get back down to about 45 mph.( a couple of you have probably almost rear ended me ) anyway I know your thinking it probably has to do with the lift but I have had it back twice to be checked and they say allienment ballance everything ok. So Im talking to a buddy and he says his new ford work truck dose exactly the same thing.Has anyone had or is haveing similar problems. Thanks in advance for your imput
Do you by chance know what your caster setting is?
Trac bar and trac bar bracket properly torqued to spec?
I purchased this truck new from ford with a fabteck lift from 4 wheel parts already on it. It has duel steering stabilizers. You mention caster a friend of mine mentioned it to.Do you have any suggestions were I can have this checked?

Reason: wrong info
DCS yes the stock stabalizer was removed the new ones have fabteck dimpled in on them. Back to caster is there a way to check this myself. I noticed that there is an ajustmant both top and bottom on the raidios arms
Especially have them check that the trac bar and trac bar bracket are torqued to spec.
Along with checking the caster.
Ok so I roll into 4 wheel parts they glance under the truck and asure me its the track bar bushing that they have had a few come in with these bad on brand new trucks. So I have to decide what to do because neither they or ford will pay. The guy says 105.00 I say No big deal just do it. Well after they do there fix they take the truck for a test drive they bring it and back and on the rack it gos .By this time theres three guys looking at it I figuer this cant be good so I go over and the manager proceeds to tell me all my ball joints are completly shot. and that I need to take it back to ford.Im pissed.
everytime I take it to ford they tell me take it to the lift shop and then just the oppisite. If you purchase a truck from ford with lift, tires everything done who should have be responsible to fix it.
If you bought it lifted from Ford and they told you the warranty, they should have to get it taken care of.....IMO.
If that means they fix it or whoever did the install fix it.
