As for the 2wd steering boxes - I've got 2 of those steering boxes sitting around in my back yard. Both are in good/useable shape, but 1 is really nice.
Both have the PS pump still attached to them - but one is seized (of course it's on the nicer box).
Anyways - shoot me a PM with an offer if you are interested. But remember - these are HEAVY so shipping will suck.
Why do you guys want to use a 2wd box?
Hate to ruin a deal ChaseTruck754 but the 2wd box is something to stay away from
If using a 77.5 to 79 truck, the existing 4wd steering box is the number one most desireable box there is. This 4 bolt box has plenty of beef and a shorter sector than any other.
The 4wd 2wd thing is when saginaw boxes are used. 4wd saginaw boxes will not permit the pitman arm to be re-indexed, but the ford boxes do.
Now if this is being performed on a 73 to 77 f-250, then one has to come up with a different box all together, and still the 78/9 box is the most desireable, but the saginaw is easier to install.
Dont get the ford dodge and chebby boxes mixed up. Ford boxes (78/9) will permit the easy upgrade of x-over steering.
If you contact Tim at www.shakerbuilt.com , or just look around that website youll get a good idea on prices. He isnt the cheapest, but does very good quality work. Ive got my whole crossover set up through him, and it ran about $350-400.

Don't worry Ed - you didn't ruin any deal. When PMed about my steering boxes I suggested the saginaw instead since it's what I like and am using. Then again I will gladly sell the 2wd boxes if people want/need them.
