It rides a little bit stiffer with the extra leaf, but it also feels a little more solid than my shackle/hanger lift felt. I dunno, I just kinda prefer extra leafs over a shackle drop.

This is the front end lift I had on my last truck, it levels out a superduty F350, or a 250 with F350 rear blocks. The problem I had with this kit is that I had to lengthen the stock trac bar to make the axle housing center, also the sway bar hit the leaf springs. This kit drops the front of the leafs and the rear of the front leafs.

I believe the stock F350 is a 3 and 1/2 inch block.

i would not up blocks up front either and those "mini spring packs" look like blocks to me. What is the difference? do the mini springs slide on eachother or something?

That's not the Pro Comp kit is it?
One benefit to having an early 99 F250 is I already have the taller rear blocks but I DESPERATELY want to level the front of my truck. I have a line on a set of X-codes for $100, does anyone have any idea how much lift you get from the X-code springs?

Thats a picture of a fab-tech lift. I see fab-tech now makes an adjustable trac-bar which I would recemend with this lift.

I was just thinking the same thing, those mini springs are welded together so they must be exactly the same as blocks, I think Adam ment the full leaf springs which are not as thick but would strenghten and lift the front about 2".. correct?

There are companys that make a mini spring pack that is small springsstacked together. They have the pins they should be and are made out of the proper material so there is some give to them.

315's are about an inch shorter than 35's. Don't know if the 325's would fit without rubbing. I had 315's on my other truck and it was not lifted and they fit fine only rubbed very little at full lock.

I have a 2 1/2" shackles on the front of my F350 to level it they are the ones from ebay they work great and the truck looks good with it being level it rides real good as well. I have not changed out the wheels and tires yet but I am planning 35's or 315's on it.

Here's an Ebay auction for leaf springs

If 315's fit with no lift I think the only problem with 325's after a 2.5" lift would be lock to lock, spacers would fix that but I'v never looked into them, not sure if they are a good idea or not...

I called Sanderson welding and talked to Mr Sanderson (forget his first name). He recomended the mini spring pack, its what he runs on his rig. I told him NOT to weld them and thats what I got; tow unwelded spring packs, longer U-bolts and two sets of retaining pins. Installation wasn't easy, but I've got probibly 3k on them without any issues. The retaining (center) pin maintains the pack and the ubolts keeps everything stright. No trackbar adjustment needed. Love the new stance.
