These ecapsulating paints work by (sealing out oxygen)
When the OEM's start using POR ,or Epoxy(gooey) (and was designed for spraying over trouble finishes ),(I have used them both),then I might be sold ...as you said..."rust never sleeps".....Keep it clean ,(Inside & out),is all that works ...Period
almost 40 years of screwing with rust , start out with.............NO RUST ..then you have a chance ...& a slim one at that .....even , if you are working on something that will never see salt again ...
Even then its a crap shoot....
Any one driving their old restored stuff in the snow?......I doubt it .....
