Hi all, What is a good remote start for my 04 6.0 Auto tranny? Also at what tempature should I be plugging it in, in the winter? Thanks

I put in the same unit about two years ago and it works great. Like you said the turbo timer is nice especially after pulling a heavy load you can just park the truck and set the remote and it cools down then shuts off.

viper makes some good ones. i have the viper 791XV and it has a few cool capabilities like Remote Start, Turbo Timer, and Alarm w/ Pager. also with a bit writer you can custom program turbo timer settings and glow plug heating wait which is important for diesels.
if your looking for just the Remote Starter i agree with Strokin83 and to just go with the FORD OEM. le$$ money
