Remote start
I was wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket remote start, just the remote start not the alarm and unlock/lock. If so what band/model and was a bypass module needed? Wanting to install one on a 12 f150 and 10 edge

2013 F150 - Viper 4204V - 2 way remote start. Needed bypass module and has separate FOB.
2011 Expy - Avital - one way remote start - needed bypass module and uses factory FOB. Had a 2 way Avital initially, but they could not get it to work properly, so had to move down to 1 way. I can not remember the model, but the range is horrible. It will probably get yanked eventually, but wifey seems to be okay with it and she parks in the garage. I also regret not getting a security system for it since it is our road trip vehicle.
Dealer did the Expy and Best Buy did the F150. So I probably can not answer install questions but will answer anything I can.
