Maybe, maybe not.

Compare the frame (VIN) number to the VIN number on the registration (title).

If the frame VIN number matches the VIN on the registration, then that will confirm what the truck is.

If the frame VIN number does NOT match the VIN on the registration...

Then...something smells, and it ain't hay!

Ok well I got a bunch of looking around to do ... Im pretty sure the Title is not for this truck without even looking at it just from what you guys are telling me b/c my dad told me it says its a '61 so i hope the guy didnt take a title from another truck and sell this truck with it -.- I'm going to drive to jacksonville and look at it all right now so the next time i post hopefully i'll be able to give you all the info you asked for.

Thanks for all the help srry that this turned into a big thing i'm not very mechanically smart, my dad is the the truck smart one and hes kinda teaching me as we go I'm the computer smart one and seeing as he works alot its nice having all of you at my fingertips helping me along THANKS cause i wouldn't be any help to him if it weren't for you all! =)

I don't want to embarrass myself further, but I don't believe this. Picture proof please.

I don't want to embarass myself any further, because I was thinking of the 223 engine, not the 292.

Thanks for the correction Bill. No slinking necessary. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I missed on the Y.
