Let us know the outcome

To many times people submit questions about problems they're having with their vehicles to which those of us in this forum are more than willing to help out with, and happily reply if we're able, only to have those we're trying to help never reply back to let us know the outcome of their issue. Please, if you submit a thread such as this, be sure to let us know the outcome so we can gauge the quality of the help we're offering, and also learn more from the threads ourselves.

I couldn't agree more. We should just keep bumping this to the top every few days for awhile. The feedback is important. It helps us all which eliminates post after post of the same identical issue and let's the advisors know if they were correct or not. And it's how we learn neat new things.

i agree 1000%. i have read a lot of threads with no "end", yes they have help to point in the right direction but no real answer. i have a thread out no"5.4 falls flat on it face" i was able to get a good start to fix the problem but no definitive answer as of yet for the simple fact no one with the same problem finished there threads. when i find out the solution to my issue i will post *** well as what i do with the results. that way we (my problem and your answers) will help the next person with the same problem....i hope
and thanks for all the help and knowledge here

Bump. I'm on board. Maybe some of the repetitive questions could be eliminated.

Maybe every post we can quote the original so if the first page isn't seen it will be seen every post. See what the Montanian has started? It's like Jones' 1776! hahahaha

I am somewhat guilty of that in a thread I started a while back about vibration, but I haven't solved it yet so no real answer but the thread might be so old by the time I fix it nobody will remember. lol

But I agree, it is nice to see a conclusion. Though I figure no news is good news. If it was still an issue, they would still be posting.

Maybe we can get this thread to become a sticky and/or a read first deal. I think that will do alot better then bumping it to the top. Maybe one of us can ask a moderator to make it a sticky.

Not a bad idea. And maybe something to fight trolls. Like we all band together when we see someone messing up a perfectly good thread. All of us jump them at once so they can't get a post in edgewise.
