no. 10 fuse position

what does the no. 10 fuse position control? it is a 30 amp.

My info shows #10 as a 20 amp fuse that powers the starter relay and instrument cluster fuses 15 and 18

Interesting, owners manual indicates above what tj said. Checked my #10 fuse in engine compartment and it too is 30 Amp. Schematic indicates fuse #10 for gas only and fuse #9 for diesel controlling starter relay and instrument cluster. So I'm not exactly sure what fuse #10 does, unless my diagrams are wrong.

when in doubt remove it and see what quits working, but the owners manual is typicly generic in nature, the wiring schematics are normally correct.

And #9 for the PCM, PCM relay, electronic transmission control, IPR and IDM

My owners manual is in the truck and that's not here , so I cant check it.
