Was goin through youtube nd ran across this vid. Talks bout drilling holes in a fittin to get the engine more fuel. Will this hurt economy? and is it recomended?heres the adress
The holes going into the plug are 1/8 and there are four. The hole in the center is 1/4. 1/8 + 1/8 = 1/4 so two 1/8 holes would equal the size of the bore in the center yet there are four so I am sure the four holes flow more than enough fuel. After seeing this video I would have to say this guy is a dingbat or a con or both.
that guy is so fall king we tall did.... his first minute of info was wrong, he said th 6.0's have a butterfly like a carburator.....ummm.... no they dont, that was deleted long ago and the early ones that do still have it the 05E15 recall disabled it....... and if you order a new replacement throttle body they dont come with a throttle plate anymore.
but anyway as for that mod....
is he really serious? those holes are larger than the size of the freakin fuel line. how is the fuel line supposed to feed those holes? the fuel lines on these pickups have the capability for more than enough flow. its the pumps and filters that are lacking in high hp situations......
