E4od Trannies From Ford
Hey, I had a new tranny put in from a Ford dealership a year ago, but it's already starting to slip a bit and the shift from 3 to 4 is an annoying clunk. Since the tranny was put in the truck was lifted 4in and had 315/75/16's put on it. I was wondering if anyone knew about wether this would void the warrenty on the tranny. Any help is appreciated.

depends on the dealer.... you got a good chance that they will make a big deal about it.... best bet is if they argue with you tell them it had the lift on it when they installed the tranny and they said nothing about the warrenty being voided........or call ford customer service. you can get a field service rep involed.... in all actuality the dealership does not have the authority to void any warrenty.
