Well it finally happened....
Our beloved 1988 E150/302/AOD finally died. It only has 350ish thousand miles on it. It still runs, but it's loping REAL bad at idle and stall out on occasion. We've tested everything we can think of and can't figure it out. I know it's a computer issue, but no luck there... Having trouble pulling codes, on two computers so I knows that's my fault for not being patient. If anyone has any ideas please let us know.

Timing chain is brand new, TPS checked out fine even re-calibrated it. The IAC is almost new. It was a combination of things. The computer had died AND the EGR valve was stuck open. The new computer didn't help the idle problem so he pulled the vacuum line off the EGR valve (the first thing I told him to do but he didn't listen) and the idle cleared up. Now it runs like a new van.
