Want to put new shocks on my F150 with stock ride height. I carry moderate loads regulary so I want something strong but also use it as a daily driver so want some comfort. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are you happy with any particular brand or model?
Rancho RS 5000s. Cheap and are very good. Paid 32 bucks each.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .
Thats it for now, saving for a stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.
Ranchos are good but you can even run KYBs and Monroe Reflex.....
I have a bunch of friends with KYBs and they love them. Usually the firmer the better with F150s. I have Bilstein on my 92 F150. HTH.
The reflex i was told from napa are 55-60 bucks a piece! Rancho was 32, so I bought those as I know their reputation.

i have rancho rs5000's and they are great, great on the road and awesome offroad all my friends wish they would have gotten my shocks instead of their other expensive brands
i would have to agree with mustang. i got rancho rs5000's in the rear, like he said both cheap and are really nice. if you dont have a price limit try goin for somethin like skyjacker, i think they are the best, but will put a nice hole in your pocket
