hi guys, new to the site. im looking at doing a converstion on an 81 f150. i will be putting the body on a dodge (cummins) drivetrain, What i need is the frame specifications in the 81 f150. hope you guys can help.

 

These places in Ontario have frames for sale, so maybe you can get the measurements there.

The Dodge chassis is considerably narrower than the Ford one, around 11" at the front bumper. I didn't measure the rest of the way back, nut, I can guarantee it's quite a bit narrower the whole way.
