Well Ive got the truck tore down now making a EGR delete kit, so thats one less thing to worry about tearing up LOL but I need a tune for NO egr but I cant get in touch with spartan so Im looking for other alternatives. Im sure they have the tune I want already written so I just need them to send it to me I have the money to pay Im not wanting a hand out. Anyone know of any other reputable tuners that can get me what I want? I really want the spartan hybrid but Im working against time (plus Im impatient )
My old tunes before the injectors were during his no egr phase. I don't have the hybrid race, but I do have a couple of the others laying around(question is finding them, but I should be able to).

Awesome, are the tunes pretty aggressive and will they work with my stock turbo, I know you run a non-vgt.

The ones that I have were when I first got tunes from him. I didn't have injectors of the turbo by then, so these are tunes that would fit most people on this board that had the same strategy that I did when I had those tunes done(Matt forced a strategy into my computer when he did the FICM tuning this last time, although I have yet to confirm what the new strategy is as I haven't gotten new tunes or requested them since then).
How do I know If I have the same strategy? How do I know what strategy my truck is? When I bought my SCT with the pre-loaded tunes it wasnt listed for different strategies. Whats the secret to all this, forgive me as Im new to tuning diesels.

That's alright. We all start somewhere. Plug your SCT into the truck's computer, after it's gets to the first menu option(load tunes I believe it is) scroll down to something that is like Truck info or something along those lines. One of the sub options in there will be read strategy and that's how you get it. You'll need to have that for whoever does your tunes when you are able to go custom.
can't tell if your being sarcastic but if not thanks. i'm not pushing or even really trying to push big numbers i just like having reliability w/ power. my custom ASE dyno's almost exactly the same as my custom HR except the HR had way more torque and the shifting and everything else is different (TC lockup, RPM shiftpoints, etc.)
No, I wasn't being sarcastic lol. I'm sorry that it came out that way. I'm really impressed at the number. Also, is it the ASE that dynoed at 860 lb ft?? My ultra comp only dynoed at 720....and even my Innovative tune in my sig dynoed only to 777...

no worries, its sometimes hard to tell over the internet.
2 weeks ago my ASE tune put down 366hp & 571 ft/lb tq on a dynojet. all the guys there (mostly chevy) were saying that the torque numbers were low for everyone because they the operator wasn't "loading" up the dyno.
first time i dyno'd it was at a Ford dealership dyno and with my HR it said around 370hp/860tq. i didn't know what to expect but the other guys were proud of the torque. we all know that with out TQ there would be no HP. lol

I think you'll like that streetcomp file over the ASE. It behaves much like it, but more aggressive I guess like an aggressive aggressive street econo.
