Welcome to FTE.
Check the fuse for your cigar lighter/data link. Should be #3 20 Amp, check your owners manual.
thank you for all your help i am going to the auto parts store and buying a new 20amp fuse today and crossing my fingers i will let you know the outcome
Here are the potentials I measured on the Data Link pins. Your findings may vary slightly
according to battery voltage. Pin 16 is supplied battery voltage from fuse panel.
hey thanks alot guys i went and pulled my f2.12 fuse and it was blown (i didnt have any spare fuses left) so i went and bought a new pack of mini 20 amps and it works like a charm my truck runs better than i ever imagined with the new programmer i really appreciate all the help and cant wait til i can contribute some help to others in the forum

You didn't say anything about having gauges in your truck. Just a word of caution. Progarammers greatly increase fuel delivery which causes high exhaust gas temperatures which in turn can seriously damage pistons. If you don't have gauges your next investment in your truck should be EGT, Boost and Tranny Temp gauge. You shouldn't run EGTs in excess of 1220° for extended periods. You won't have a problem cruising but when you put your foot in it the EGTs climb very, very fast.
i do have a trans temp, boost, pyro gauges .....i only make about 5lbs of boost the most ive seen was 10lbs in my truck but with this new progammer seems like i lost boost so im wondering if there is somthing wrong with my gauge or line............i also bought a diesel mastermind with the programmer so i just need to get around to installing it
