Howdy folks,
Proud owner of a 1995 f-150 2wd down here is South Texas. Bought it last year from the original owner, a winter texan who didnt drive it much. I have been slowly trying to coax this baby into being my daily driver. Anyways, wanted to introduce myself and my pickup Tina Lee:

Well howdy sugarsplash, thats a real nice lookin pickup you got there. how's your turnin radius? I had a "93" 3/4 ton xtra cab that didn't turn for beans an since I was haulin my tool trailer all over the northwest I ended up peddlin it off to another feller who just drives it around town . I love how they got your parking lot protector down the side painted white to match the truck, I always seen um in black. Good luck with your truck it sure looks nice. Bdub
Concur on the turning radius, truck feels pretty big in tight spaces sometimes. The previous owner shot it with a pretty decent 10 footer paint job and I think I like the guards in white better than the original rubber. I keep telling myself I will just remove them and repaint the white someday. In my copious free time lol.

Too stupid to figure out what the hell I. Supposed to do here. New phone and I can only see the print if I use a telescope or like now I can only see part of the scree. I've got an issue with a truck but I am not about to go into it like this. Screw it. I give up. I suggest whoever designs these sites to have less crap everywhere and maybe a sign that says click here to navigate thru this crap so you can introduce yourself and then ask a question or whatever. Yhen again like I said I may be the only one that can't tell where I'm supposed to do what. Yell seemed to do fine before I got here so I'll leave tall to it and say adios. No need for me to have a stroke trying to figure our wtf to do here. See I can't even figure out how to post this.
New guy here, my first Ford in a long time. Back in my high school days I have numerous Taurus SHO's, and subsequently blew the differentials out of most of them. Had a Lincoln Conti with the 4.6 DOHC, and old 84 Grand Marquis, and a few others. But since then I have been running mostly Chevy's and BMW's.
We just purchased a house last year and have a 500ft long driveway that I used a snowblower on all last year (what a nightmare) and I refused to do it again this year. I didn't feel like throwing a plow on my old Rusty 94 GMC Sierra 1500, so I was looking for a rig that was already set up, but that needed some work. I came across this 85' F-350 (6.9 IDI with 108k) with a unknown plow on it (turns out it's a small local company that makes plows mostly, this line is their Leo plows). It definitely needed (and still needs some work), but it is getting there.
I ended up getting the truck and plow for just $1500, which the plow or truck on their own were probably worth that. It's in shockingly good shape for being 37 years old. The worst rust on it is that the floor pans have detached from the rocker panels. It's so strange to see so much of the cab corner there externally, but the inside is gone. That will be a problem for next year, floor pans/rockers/cab corners are cheap. I did a patch job to tie things together to be more structural than they were, good enough for now, winter is coming and I have a few more things planned.
Since I've picked it up here's what I've replaced/fixed, glowplugs are next and then it's all minor things.
New Starter
New Waterpump
New Belts
New Plow Headlights
Plow Left + Right Cylinders Rebuilt
New Glowplug Controller
New Headlight Switch
Some pics below of the new rig and tossed in a pic of the DD and my project cars (they are a bit buried in the garage as I am preparing for winter).

First Time Ford F250 Owner
Today ordered a 2023 F250 Platinum. We will see when it arrives. I figure between March and hello freezing over. Been driving F150 for the company I work with for years. This will be the first diesel I have ever owned. Looking forward to it and spending time here.
Cheers from Germany
Hi everyone,
another one on the list of the few German members.
I have a 1997 Ford E-350 Econoline 5.4 V8 Extended XLT Passenger Van. Canada Model.
My Dad bought it 2010. The Van „slept“ from 2014 - 2020 in a Garage. I brought it back to life and did a little Van conversion by building a sliding bed in the back. We (my wife and son) started to use it as a camper van. Since 2022 we‘re using the campervan with two kids
For the upcoming winter brake a big project will start by replacing:

- front suspension (shocks and coil springs)
- all bushings, ball joints, tie rods etc.
- Rear shocks
- Front brakes (maybe an ’08 upgrade if possible)
I'm new around here
Howdy everyone. I'm Deakin. I'm glad to have found this forum. I'm currently driving a 2000 f350 7.3. Really looking to learn more about my truck for I've been taking care of any issues that come my way within my scope. Just changed out the oil and glow plugs yesterday to get it ready for winter. In recent times I changed out 2 sets of batteries and alternators and 1 starter due to a draw on my batteries that I couldn't figure out for the life of me. They were tough times in Central Oregon until I found a faulty wire running to the Amp in the back for the stereo. Hope you're all having a great day.
